As a child, I spent a lot of time tugging at my great-grandmother’s apron strings. I vividly recall her trips to Little Switzerland. She would gather her art supplies and head out to that glorious destination along the Blue Ridge Parkway with a sparkle in her eye. It was in me just the same- a part of me as much as the blue in my eyes. A passion for creating.

Fast forward to a time when I was planning for my future. With my parents help and encouragement,  I purchased a small floral business in my hometown at the tender age of 19. I took a leap of faith and made a name for myself over the next few years.

About ten years in, the economy took a downfall and I found myself needing to make a career change.  I became a nurse. While rewarding,  it was challenging.  And I just couldn’t get design out of my system. I did wedding planning/design and helped out during busy times at any local florist that would have me.

With 35 years of experience, I am blessed to be able to share my God given talent full time once again. I am detail oriented and love planning parties and events where the florals simply take your breath away. Both my daughters are equally talented and while they have their own careers, they offer valuable expertise and keep me up to date on the latest trends. With my sweet husband by my side, we want to enjoy your event as much as you. Watch us grow.
